I hate betas.

Seriously. Can’t someone just say, “I won’t give you a number.  I’ll just tell you that it’s going to be ok/it’s not going to be ok.”

First beta, 12dpo = 31.

I have no idea if that’s good or bad. I know that 31 is that highest it’s ever been at 12DPO. The first pregnancy it was 14, the second I think it was 28, the third, at 14DPO, it was 34, and this last time, 18DPO I think, it was 20.

So I’m really just kind of “eh” right now. Don’t know what to think.

  1. do you have another beta soon? Just to give you some hope, I have a friend whose 1st beta was 31 and she had to have 3 follow up tests. The numbers kept doubling and today she has been given the “beta thumbs up” and is 5 weeks pregnant. I have my fingers crossed for you that your numbers keep going up! Sending lots of sticky babydust!

    • Thank you for the comment! I have another beta on Monday, so I’m hoping for some good numbers. I like hearing success stories, so it’s good to know someone else started out with that same number and is now fine!

  2. Hey there,
“Met” you on the Lovenox Board. 🙂 SO excited for you and really hope this is it! Here’s a link to average numbers: http://www.advancedfertility.com/earlypre.htm. You have to scroll down a bit to get to the chart. Looks like you are doing great. The biggest thing (as I’m sure you know) is that they double every 2-3 days. Hang in there mama!!
